Our Maths Curriculum
At Highfield Academy, we strongly believe in ensuring children gain a deeper understanding of mathematics.

Maths is taught in mixed ability groups in Key Stage 1 but there is targeted ability grouping in year 3, 4, 5 and 6. Interventions and pre-teaching are carefully planned to support children of all abilities.
