Computing

Computing is an integral part of the National Curriculum and is a key skill for everyday life. A high-quality computing education equips pupils to use creativity to understand and change the world. Computers, iPads, programmable robots, digital and video cameras are just some of the tools that can be used to acquire, organise, store, manipulate, interpret, communicate and present information. We use the Purple Mash scheme of work to teach Computing across school, from Reception to Year 6. Our Computing curriculum is designed to equip children with the skills and understanding to live in a technological world. We want to ensure that our children are confidence, independent and enjoy using technology.
