Safeguarding Statement & Child Protection Policy

Parents should be aware that the school would take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils/students.

In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to significant harm, ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative but to follow SSC (Sunderland Safeguarding Children Procedures) Child Protection Procedures and inform Children Services Social Care of their concern.

Any concerns over safeguarding should be discussed with:

Natalie O'Donnell - Designated Safeguarding Lead

Lucy Atkinson - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Stephen King - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Melanie Davies - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Joanne Beavers - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
