Pupil Premium 2018 -2019

Income from Pupil Premium £ £250, 800

Governors have agreed to spend the allocation across the school on resources and staffing that will have an impact on raising the achievement of pupils in the school.

Money has been allocated to provide:

  • Additional teaching and support staff for EYFS – including additional teacher in Reception
  • Additional teaching and support staff for key stage 2 – including the Rainbow Room and additional teacher in Year 6
  • Free Breakfast Club
  • Regular swimming lessons – KS2 throughout the year
  • E learning subscriptions – Bug clubs / Purple MASH / Education City
  • ICT hardware – new touch screen classroom boards, IPADS
  • Educational Visits – Entrance fees / coaches
  • Hardship fund – school uniforms/coats and shoes and specialist kit for Derwent Hill
  • Use of mini buses to support learning beyond the classroom
  • Additional professional support – Parent and Family Welfare Officer (Providing counselling for children and families) Educational Psychologist
  • Subsidised music lessons and tuition – Year 1 – Year 6 throughout the year.
